Your Data, Your Device
Trigzi is designed to empower you with data, not harvest it from you. Your personal health data, daily habits, and symptom logs live exactly where they belong: securely on your own hardware. By design, the "Nuclear Option" in your Profile settings will instantly and permanently erase all scans, photos, and notes from your physical device.
Image Processing & Camera
When utilizing the camera for meal tracking or Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to read ingredient labels, all processing occurs locally on your device using native systems (such as Apple's Vision framework). Your photos and camera feeds are never uploaded to our servers, analyzed in the cloud, or used to train external AI models.
Database Normalization & Search
To make logging fast and accurate, our backend systems cache public product data—such as ingredients, macronutrients, and known allergens. When you scan a barcode or search for an item, that request is completely anonymized. We store the resulting product information to improve scanning speeds for all users, but this data is strictly product-related and contains zero user telemetry or tracking identifiers.
Zero Data Selling Policy
We have a strict zero-monetization policy regarding your personal information. We do not sell, rent, broker, or trade your habits, dietary preferences, or health triggers to data brokers, advertising networks, or third-party corporations.
Backups and Syncing
Because Trigzi is local-first, the only time your personal data leaves your device is if you have explicitly enabled system-level cloud backups (such as iCloud or Google One). These backups are encrypted and governed entirely by your platform provider. Trigzi does not have back-door access to your cloud storage.
Anonymous Crash Reporting
We only see what you explicitly choose to share. If the app encounters a bug or crashes, your operating system may ask if you want to share an anonymous crash report with our developers. This is entirely opt-in, helps us keep the app stable, and contains no personal health data or trigger logs.
